At the highest point of the city of Amersfoort in the rolling green district Lichtenberg, a house designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects is being developed. Landscape and security are central to the design.

For the Palace District (Paleiskwartier) in 's-Hertogenbosch, in the south of the Netherlands we designed PALAZZO; a residential block with 233 homes and an open, green courtyard in a beautiful location overlooking a large public square and magnificent pond.

This museum for modern, contemporary and applied art and design in Arnhem, was renovated and expanded. Benthem Crouwel Architects’ clear and simple design concept involved restoring Cornelis Outshoorn’s 1873 design in all its former glory.

Benthem Crouwel Architects + West 8 urban design and landscape architecture jointly design the multimodal hub of Brno, urban realm and adjacent station quarter. The design combines a reference to historic public buildings with a modern intermodal hub and a high quality public space. It emphasizes the Brno's genius loci and proves a careful assessment of the practical functioning of the station building and its surroundings.

Benthem Crouwel Architects co-designed a plan for the redevelopment of a neglected area near the National Bank of Slovakia in the center of Bratislava. We designed three modern apartment buildings in a rolling landscape surrounded by abundant greenery. By incorporating a public walking route that runs through the ensemble and adding friendly public spaces, the project becomes a valuable addition to the neighbourhood.

Vijzelgracht House is a national heritage site designed by Philips Vingboons in about 1670 as a weaver’s house. It is one of roughly eighty weaver’s houses that have survived. The restoration and renovation preserved the original layout and revealed as much of the original material as possible. Later additions were removed and partly rebuilt to a higher standard within the same volume.
